GF-EFIS Electronic Flight Instrument System
- Customer Reviews (4)
The EFIS controls the Multi-Function Display (MFD). Located next to the autopilot (MCP), the EFIS controls the radar features in many commercial planes. This duo makes an ideal pair for virtually flying airliners, specifically the Boeing 737 family.
Why It’s Helpful:
• Provides excellent virtual training—particularly for commercial airliners.
• Helps you quickly access flight information without using the keyboard or mouse.
• Allows you to see and plan for incoming weather.
This item is only compatible with Add-On planes that support EFIS functions.

A valuable Cockpit Addition - Wednesday, January 25, 2017Bought this unit a year ago, and it works great in combination with my MCP-Pro.
The fact that some buttons functions were altered from the real cockpit, it does not take away from the great experience.
I can certainly recommend this unit to anyone who already has the MCP-Pro.

GF-EFIS units - Wednesday, January 25, 2017I have the two units the captain's and that of the FO... When I used them on my windows XP Professional 32bit system and MS Flight simulator X.....I never had any problems with them....
Now I shifted to Windows 7 professional on a 64bit system and while flying the MS Flight simulator X....they, without any reason stop responding to any inputs while I could still use my mouse to make inputs on the flight screen....
I Have downloaded and installed the latest GF software for them and still they show this problem whenever I fly...
GF EFIS Review - Saturday, November 5, 2016I have two of these units: Capt and FO units. They have really added to my simming experience! While these units are highly useful, several knobs and two buttons have been modified from the real jet to accommodate functionality and reduce cost (as best I can tell). My guess is that a comparable unit with the exact function of the real jet would cost at least another $200. I'd say that GF has done a great job of making this unit functional AND affordable. I recommend it!
