Click on “GF-Config Set Up x.xx” to download our latest module drivers and configuration software.
Click “Run” or “Save” and follow the instructions to install the software on your system. If the software installer detects that GoFlight software is already installed on your system, it will prompt you to overwrite. Click the Yes button to overwrite the existing version of GoFlight software. This is useful if you wish to keep the configuration settings for other GoFlight modules installed on your system, however, you should first make sure that the software you are overwriting is an older version and not a newer one.
Hardware & Cables
If you are going to mount the GF-ATC unit into a GoFlight rack, install the unit in any desired location in the rack (with the exception of the GF-OHR as noted above) using the two thumbscrews provided. Note: Be sure to check for proper clearance based on the depth of the circuit board of this module.
Plug one end of one of the audio cables into the Microphone (Mic) Jack (Blue) of your sound card. Plug the other end of the Mic cable into the Center Jack labeled, “Mic” in the rear of the GF-ATC module. (Marking both ends of one of the cables by any means you choose may assist in avoiding improper connections.)
Plug one end of the other audio cable into the Speaker Jack (Green) of your sound card. Plug the other end of the speaker cable into the Left Jack labeled, “Sound Card” in the rear of the GF-ATC module. Note: You may plug your speakers into the rear of the GF-ATC module using the Right Jack labeled, “Speakers” or in the front panel jack also labeled “Speakers.”
Plug the USB cable “B” connector (square) end into the connector on the back of the GF-ATC circuit board.
Plug the USB cable “A” connector end (rectangular) to a USB port on your computer. The message “New Hardware Found” will appear briefly, showing that the GF-ATC was detected.
From your Windows desktop, click Start–>Programs–>GoFlight to access the GoFlight program folder. Run the “GF-ATC Display Test” program to verify the operation of the displays and rotary controls.
To configure your GF-ATC for use with your favorite flight simulator, run the GF-Config program.
